After a short time in office the new administration is now raising taxes, increasing defense spending both leading to record deficits and historical increase in national debt and the likelihood that an immigration policy granting amnesty is also in the offering.
This is not the Obama administration, this is the Reagan administration. There is a new book out about the myth of Reagan and a lot of the Tea Party folks would be well served to read it. I make this suggestion because this administration is looking less like Lincoln and more like Reagan. I’ve dipped into the conservative talking media pool and found the water hot and bubbling.
It appears that the Republican Sponsored Tea Party is the frog sitting in a pot of slowly heated water cooking nicely until the cold water of the Democratic Presidential victory woke them up and now their mad. The frogs ignored the excess of the Reagan and both Bush administrations losing their vision and only seeing scandals in the Clinton administration; the scandalous reduction in welfare and entitlements, the balanced budget, and reduction in the national debt.
The GOP seemed content when each family’s share of the national debt was less then $450,000.00 per family. That threshold was breached in the waning days of Republican rule and now the Tea Party phenomenon has emerged to address this issue.
It gladdens my heart to see their children holding up sign of discontent. I hope they can teach their children the lessons they refused to lean. That party affiliation is no excuse for turning a blind eye towards the future of your children and that tomorrow will one day be your children’s today.
Today 95% of tax payers will be paying less in taxes but tomorrow the children will receive less in benefits from the all levels of government. As the Obama administration directs dollars towards butter issues and way from guns, the real founding principals of this nation will be renewed with an updated infrastructure that provides for continued national growth and increased national prosperity going into the future.
We have reached the spending limits that can be passed onto the future. Savings and deflation will cause pain but rebalance cost of living for future generations. Our standard of living and future prospects will be held to what’s on hand. What we build now and pay for with taxes on the top 5% will be enjoyed by our children.
The anger and frustration vented by the part goers is the last cry of the “me” generation to be replaced by the “we” generation. A generation of people committed to improvement of the human condition through self sacrifice and total disregard for self reword.
